Faculty of Veterinary Science Course Collateral requirements

The Course Collateral Online eStore is an initiative of the University of Sydney and is managed by Campus Card Services. The store was created in 2008 with your faculty’s advice and support, so that you could easily find the materials that are needed to carry out your units of study.

All items that you can see online have been chosen specifically so they meet your course requirements and that they also meet, where required, appropriate Australian safety standards.

For students undertaking the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) and Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (BAnVetBioSc) there are minimum requirements for you to undertake your units of study.

Requirement for start of Semester One

Faculty of Veterinary Science crested lab coat or equivalent
1 x pair of safety goggles
1 x Faculty of Veterinary Science specific dissecting kit

Requirement for Camden Classes, commencing mid Semester One and for extramural placements

1 x pair of Faculty of Veterinary Science crested overalls (bib & brace or long sleeved)
1 x pair of steel capped safety boots
1 x pair of steel capped gumboots
1 x pair of cotton drill work trousers or equivalent

Requirement for extramural placements commencing during mid-year or end of year vacation period

1 x pair of cotton drill work shorts or equivalent
